A collection of memories for a lovely lady.

I don't have 1 set memory which stands out the most with Wendy. Everytime I popped in, I was always made to feel welcome. Wendy was always interested in what I had been up, and in recent years, how my little family were. I know whenever we would all turn up (me, Adam and the kiddies) she would always be so happy to see them and how much they had changed. When my mum married Ralph (Alastair), I was made to feel welcome by all. It's not about the costly things, it's about presence and effort, and Wendy ALWAYS made effort. Herself and Allan always came along to events we had planned. Any birthdays/christmases, there would always be a card wishing us well. The last time we saw Wendy was Jacob's 3rd birthday gathering, I know both Wendy and Allan were a bit upset they couldn't make Marnie's birthday party so they were really pleased to join in with Jacob's small gathering.

I feel so lucky to have known Wendy and grateful for the way I was always treated, and my children. I don't believe I was ever treated like a "step" relative. I believe I was ALWAYS treated as family, and I classed her as mine. Wendy you will be deeply missed, until we meet again.

Lots of love to all the family. Love George, Adam, Jacob and Marnie xx
